Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick Sides with Radical Republicans, Votes Against Reproductive Health Care

In shameful vote against the Women's Health Protection Act, Fitzpatrick opens door to abortion bans for millions of women

Vulnerable Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick sent a clear message to Pennsylvanians today: He does not stand with them and the majority of Americans who support access to safe, legal abortion.

Fitzpatrick's vote against codifying the critical protections of Roe v. Wade and affirming nearly 50 years of Supreme Court precedent is just the latest evidence that he is grossly out of touch with the people of PA-01. The majority of Americans support the passage of a national law that would protect the constitutional right to safe, legal abortion and stop radical abortion bans across the country.

Yet when it came time to stand up for the people of PA-01, Fitzpatrick once again voted to control women's bodies and lives over protecting their freedom to make their own decisions free from political interference.
