Route 153 in New Madrid County Closed for Culvert Replacement…
SIKESTON-Route 153 in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
This section of roadway is located between Route B and County Road 248 near Tallapoosa, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
