Democrat Laura Kelly visited the State Fair today where, according to reporting from Hays Post, she refused for the THIRD time to give a straight answer about whether she intends to fight President Joe Biden's federal vaccine mandate on small businesses and workers. In the same interview, Kelly spoke glowingly about businesses requiring vaccine passports for service, like she'd recently experienced in New York.

'I was just in New York on a trade mission,' Kelly said. 'In order to get into a restaurant in New York, I had to show my vaccine card. There's a lot of that going on, just sort of organically. I'm fully aware that the President has announced the mandate for businesses with over 100 employees. We don't really know what that means. We haven't seen the guidelines. The mandate is also softened though, by, if you don't want to get vaccinated, at least get tested.'

Twenty-four Republican attorneys general - including Kansas' - sent a letter today threatening legal action if the Biden Administration proceeds to mandate most private sector employees either get a COVID-19 shot, submit to weekly testing, or be fired.

'Whether she intends to enforce or fight Joe Biden's vaccine mandate is an easy question Democrat Laura Kelly seems intent on refusing to answer,' said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. 'No matter what form the mandate takes administratively, the Kansas Chamber has said already struggling small businesses will lose employees because of it. Kelly is standing with her Party boss Joe Biden by giving him cover instead of standing with the Kansans across the state left wondering whether they are going to be fired over personal health decisions.'
