Colorado Springs Police Department issues evacuation order related to Grace/Akerman Dr. Fire and Skylark Mobile Home Park Fire

Grace/Akerman Dr Fire

Colorado Springs Police Department has issued a mandatory evacuation for the Grace/Akerman Dr. Fire from Stetson Hills North to Dublin and Summer Grace to Peterson Road. Evacuation center is the UCHealth Park (formerly Sky Sox Stadium) 4385 Tutt Blvd. There will be a media briefing at 2 p.m. at UCHealth Park (formerly Sky Sox Stadium). Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is taking animals at 610 Abbott Lane.

Skylark Mobile Home Park Fire

Colorado Springs Police Department has also issued an evacuation for the Skylark Mobile Home Park due to a fire. The evacuation center is at Grace Baptist Church at 3500 N Nevada Ave. There will be a media briefing at the UCCS - National Cybersecurity Center at 2:30 p.m.
