Join us for Cities in the 21st Century - a lunch time lecture series at City Hall.
The third lecture in the series will be held from noon to 1 pm on Monday, May 1 titled 'The Death and Life of the Single-Family House' with Nathanael Lauster.
Nathanael is author of The Death and Life of the Single-Family House: Lessons from Vancouver on Building a Livable City. He is an internationally recognized housing scholar and an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of British Columbia. He maintains a blog at homefreesociology.wordpress.org.
The series will explore city-making in the 21st century, and includes upcoming events such as ''Bikes Mean Business' with Elly Blue and 'Building Child-Friendly Public Spaces' with Diana Studer.
