New school planned for District 5

Council Member John Meredith took questions and provided updates on several topics at his April Town Hall at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located in an area that could see substantial growth over the next decade. Topics of interest included future commercial and residential development, infrastructure, traffic and schools.

Council Member Meredith also revealed a new K-8 school in District 5 as part of Huntsville City Schools' proposed 10-year capital plan.
