VINFAST REVEALS VF 8, VF 9 PRICING DETAILS AND ITS BATTERY SUBSCRIPTION POLICY IN THE EU MARKET

Paris, May 10, 2022 - VinFast announces VF 8's and VF 9's pricing details and battery subscription for the European markets including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Customers can choose Flexible subscription plan or Fixed subscription plan to suit the usage demands. From 2024 onwards, approximately only 50% of VinFast electric vehicles sold will be applied with the battery subscription policy, the remaining 50% will be sold with batteries as market practice.

VF 8 and VF 9 electric vehicles which have recently completed rigorous winter, summer and high speed testing programmes in Sweden and Spain, are expected to be available in Europe in the second half of 2022 with two versions of Eco and Plus with pricing details as following:

VF 8's and VF 9's battery versions come with specific usable capacities and ranges per full charge (WLTP target):

VinFast will offer customers two innovative battery subscription plans, which are the Flexible and Fixed packages. The Fixed Package, with unlimited mileage, has a monthly subscription fee of €120 for VF 8 and €150 for VF 9 (including VAT). The Flexible Package is designed for customers who travel infrequently, for up to 500km of travel per month. Details will be announced at the appropriate time.

During the battery subscription period, VinFast will cover all maintenance and repair costs, and replace the battery for free when capacity drops below 70%, giving customers peace of mind regarding the quality of the battery during use.

In appreciation of pioneering customers, VinFast will apply the battery subscription policy for 100% of the EVs sold until the end of 2023. From 2024 onwards, approximately 50% of VinFast electric vehicles sold will be applied with the battery subscription policy, the remaining 50% will be sold with batteries as market practice.

Along with pricing details, VinFast introduces the VinFast Smart Driving package which aims to provide customers with a safe and enjoyable driving experience on every journey. In Europe, the VinFast Smart Driving package is priced at €7,250 for a one-time payment (including VAT) or €150 for a monthly payment (including VAT). In particular, VinFirst pioneering customers will be offered a one-time payment Smart Driving package.

VinFast Smart Driving includes, but is not limited to: collision mitigation; highway driving assist, lane-change assist; advanced parking assist including remote parking and vehicle summon; voice assistant; 360-degree surround monitoring as part of its smart navigation; and options such as Mobile Home, Mobile Office and In-car Shopping.

Previously, VinFast officially announced the extension of the VinFirst program until the end of May 30, 2022 (GMT+1). With a deposit of €150, VinFirst customers will receive special offers, including one luxury vacation in Vietnam, one eVoucher for €2,500 toward a VF 8 or €4,200 toward a VF 9, one -time payment Smart Driving package worth €7,250 (including VAT), one exclusive VinFirst NFT that is exchangable on OpenSea. In addition, VinFast will plant a tree on behalf of each customer for a sustainable future.
