Wholesale prices in 2021 on average 10.4% higher than in 2020

Vienna,2022-01-05 - The annual average 2021of wholesale prices (WPI 2020) amounted to 110.4 index points (preliminary value) and was 10.4% above the previous year's level, as Statistics Austria reports.

In December 2021, the index of wholesale prices (WPI 2020) amounted to 116.1 and thus increased by 15.0% against December 2020. Compared to November 2021, wholesale prices fell by 0.5%.
