With six dives in each competition, Jenkins smashed the records she held previously on both the 1- and 3-Meter boards. She won the 1-Meter competition with a tally of 223.65 points and the 3-Meter with a point total of 200.90.
Marks took nearly a full second off of her previous school record in the 100 Butterfly. Though she finished second in the event by .14, she still turned in a time of 1:01.49 which eclipsed her time of 1:02.30 from earlier this season.
The Illinois College men's swimming team had two additions to their record book. turned in the fourth-fastest 200 Backstroke in school history with a time of 2:08.72. In the longest event of the day, clocked in at 17:49.58, winning the 1650 Freestyle with the fifth-fastest time in Blueboy history.
On top of those performances, Illinois College had 10 other top-three finishes on the afternoon. For the Lady Blues, Marks added two more, as did Marjori Russo. Marks was the winner of the 100 Breaststroke (1:08.82) and 200 Breaststroke (2:33.23). Russo finished as the runner-up in the 100 Freestyle (58.29), while placing third in the 50 Freestyle (26.56).
For the Blueboys, the day began with a third-place showing from the 200 Medley Relay team of , Williams, and Howey with a time of 1:48.36. Ambre would go on to add two more top-three finishes, ending in second in the 200 Freestyle (1:52.73) and third in the 1650 Freestyle (18:00.60). On top of his win in the 1650 Freestyle, Howey added a third-place finish in the 500 Freestyle (5:06.28). Williams was also a third-place finisher in the 400 IM with a time of 4:39.43. Finally, in men's diving, took third place on the 1-Meter boards with a total score of 103.15.
Illinois College is back home on Feb. 1 for Senior Day, hosting Principia College in a dual meet starting at 1 p.m.
