NOPD Seeking Suspect in First District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect in the ongoing investigation of an aggravated assault with a knife incident that occurred on August 11, 2022, in the 800 block of North Rendon Street.

Through investigation, NOPD First District detectives determined that about 7:10 p.m. on August 11, the victim was walking in the area when the pictured unknown white male began shouting at him. When the victim turned to face the subject, the subject reportedly produced a pocketknife and threatened to kill the victim. The victim reportedly fled, with the suspect allegedly pursuing. After a short distance, the suspect then turned and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male standing between 5'8" and 6'0" in height with dark short hair and a short beard. He was last seen wearing the pictured clothing.
