The Board of Health, at the request of the Commissioner of Health Services, considers matters relating to the preservation and improvement of public health. The Board generally meets the third Wednesday of every month, with a break during the summer months. In the event that a quorum cannot be achieved at a particular meeting, the meeting will be cancelled. Please contact the Department at 631-854-0100 prior to the meeting to confirm that a quorum is expected.

The public comments portion of the meeting is generally held within the first several minutes once the meeting has begun. The time limit for speakers is three minutes.
