Russian President Vladimir Putin Congratulates PhosAgro on its 20th Anniversary

Moscow - Russia's President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to congratulate the staff of PhosAgro, which is one of the world's largest phosphate-based fertilizer producers, on the Company's 20th anniversary.

"Over these years your company has achieved steady growth, increasing production volumes and contributing strongly to ensuring the country's food security.

"I am convinced that these impressive achievements are the result of the well-coordinated, highly professional work of thousands of employees of the Company's enterprises and competent managerial decisions.

"Of course, I would also like to make note of the Company's priority goals to create new jobs, integrate innovative eco-friendly technologies, and implement important social initiatives in healthcare, sports, youth programmes, and large-scale charity projects.

"I wish you great success and all the best in the years to come!" the President's telegram reads.

Andrey Guryev, CEO of PhosAgro thanked the President for his high praise of the results the Company has achieved over the past two decades.

"The fantastic effort of our team of thousands of like-minded professionals has helped us increase the production output of our main products threefold, to a record level of more than 10 million tonnes last year.

"Our fertilizers are some of the most eco-efficient in the world, and over the past two decades we have managed to boost supplies to Russian farmers fivefold. We have transformed from a mere fertilizer producer into a supplier of comprehensive solutions to guarantee solid crop yields: nutrition systems that are tailored to various types of soil and plants.

"PhosAgro's large-scale investment programme has helped us modernise production and build new facilities using the best available solutions.

"The Company has always based its business practices on taking care of its employees, being accountable, and sustainable development. Every year we allocate more than RUB 4 billion to our charity and social projects, which have been commended as some of the most important in the country. Our goal is to motivate employees, ensure occupational health and safety, create a comfortable urban environment in regions where we operate, support medicine, as well as professional and children's sports.

"We believe that the Company has a bright future as we continue investing in modern technology and eco-friendly production, implementing social programmes and initiatives, and strengthening our position as a reliable supplier to Russian farmers and the agricultural industry," Andrey Guryev said.

Among those who congratulated PhosAgro on its 20th anniversary was the Russian Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, deputy prime ministers and federal ministers, heads of Russia's Houses of Parliament, senators, heads of large social and research organisations, and the company's business partners.
