Boger, a native of Harrisburg, is the second Golden Bear football student-athlete to win the award all-time, joining Josh Smith (2011).
The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 award and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's championship sites. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions - I, II, and III.
Boger has accumulated 66 credits towards his sport management degree while boasting a 3.91 grade point average.
On the field, the Central Dauphin East graduate has appeared in 11 career games. This season, Boger has registered a career-high six tackles in five games for the PSAC East champion Golden Bears.
