Barclays hires Isaac Davies as Treasurer, Europe

Barclays has appointed Isaac Davies as the Treasurer for the bank's Europe operations.

Isaac brings more than 30 years of finance experience to the role and his appointment will further boost Barclays Europe's treasury and finance capabilities.

Isaac began his career in the UK as an auditor with EY, progressing to a number of finance roles mainly with Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. From 2009 he spent nine years at Barclays, latterly as Asia Pacific Treasurer, before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch as North Asia Treasurer.

Based in Dublin, Isaac will report to Jasper Hanebuth, Barclays Europe CFO, and Mark Washtell, BBPLC Treasurer, and is expected to rejoin the bank in November 2022.
