Introducing pure, responsibly produced flavours of the North at the Anuga food fair in Germany

At HKScan's Anuga food fair stand, chefs will be preparing delicious tasters of responsibly produced HK products. Visitors will also have an opportunity to taste new Boltsi Oat Balls and Kariniemen® Chicken Grill Sausages that both were on the shortlist for Anuga's New Innovation competition.

"Novelties, HKScan's antibiotic free meat products and meal components attract the interest among customers around the world," says Petri Haaparanta, VP Export & Import at HKScan.

There is also a growing emphasis on responsibility in exports.

"We have several responsibility examples to tell our customers. For example, in the packaging of Kariniemen Chicken Barbeque Sausages, plastic made from fossil raw materials has been replaced by Woodly's wood-based plastic. Our target is carbon-neutral food production by the end of 2040. The new innovation brings us another step closer to our Zero Carbon target," says Haaparanta.

Anuga is the world's leading international food trade fair for retailers and FoodService industries. The fair will take place in Cologne, Germany from 9 to 13 October 2021. HKScan will be at stand 5.2 C 59 and Rose brand in the stand 9.1 C 18.
