In Dagestan, at the basing point of the Caspian Flotilla (CFl), the crews of naval combat posts repelled an air attack by mock enemy, using the air defence systems of warships.
With the help of radio-electronic means of illumination of the surface and air situation, as well as radar stations and complexes of the coastal troops detection system, the movement of the mock enemy aviation in the direction of the base point of the CFl was revealed.
During the exercise, the Caspian Flotilla crews practiced the use of electronic and visual camouflage equipment, as well as methods of target distribution and firing missions through various communication channels. The targets were struck with electronic launches before the aircraft entered the combat course.
In total, about 20 surface ships, boats and ships were involved in the exercise, including missile ships Tatarstan and Dagestan, small missile and artillery ships Grad Sviyazhsk, Veliky Ustyug, Makhachkala, Astrakhan , minesweepers German Ugryumov and Magomet Gadzhiev.
