Are you ready for the next version of LEED?

LEED v5 represents the latest edition of USGBC's globally recognized framework for green building practices. It will help buildings contribute toward deep decarbonization goals while also addressing ecosystems, equity, health and resilience. To help introduce LEED v5, USGBC offers two free online courses that provide a high-level overview of credits in the new rating systems:

Explore these courses to become familiar with what the new rating systems have to offer.

For credential holders, each course offers 1 GBCI continuing education hour (LEED-specific for LEED BD+C, LEED ID+C and LEED O+M).

To dive deeper into LEED v5, explore the other offerings in the USGBC online course catalog.

LEED v5 is currently in draft and is open for public comment through May 20, and we are seeking input from all stakeholders. Updates to the LEED rating system are based on feedback from USGBC volunteers and members, LEED project teams, and others throughout the green building industry.
