Brix: We see Abazović as a hope that Europe will reach the Balkans

Mr. Abazović is of young generation of politicians who represent a minority in his country, which I believe can be a particularly challenging job, given in particular his activities aimed at combating organised crime, said Emil Brix, Director of the prestigious Vienna School of International Studies during the lecture of Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović on 'European values on the road to the Balkans: Changes, challenges, visions'.

As a moderator at Abazović's lecture, Brix pointed out that Montenegro is a good example of how much change is needed, especially for the countries of the Western Balkans, which are on their European path.

The new Government in Montenegro represents a new era and change of system. Dritan Abazović is a symbol of hope for his country and for the European path of the Western Balkan countries. Abazović is a hope that changes are possible, Emil Brix stressed.
