SCDOT to temporarily close Hampshire Drive in Cherokee County as part of I-85 Widening Project

​Columbia, S.C.(April 23, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close part of Hampshire Drive in Cherokee beginning April 30 as part of the I-85 Widening Project. The closure is expected to last four weeks.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured using Allison Drive and Matthew Road. The northbound Exit 95 off-ramp will remain open. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that the dotted line indicates where the road will be open to local traffic only.
