Delaying your mail!

The Iowa Federation of Labor would like to apologize to those people that received their Iowa AFL-CIO News late. We here you and we are not happy about this delay of our mailing. The paper was placed into the mail stream weeks before the June primary, yet people are just now, weeks after that primary, receiving their paper.

This is not our fault, nor is it the fault of our printer and mailer. This is an example of what Postmaster General DeJoy is doing to your U.S. Postal Service. If he gets his way, this is only going to get worse.

We don't blame the workers at the USPS. They are understaffed and have had delivery standards taken away from them.

This delay of mail is not just effecting new papers, first class mail is taking days to be delivered across town. This will impact bill payments, birthday cards, and much more.

It's past time to make DeJoy know we will not stand for this. It's time to bring service back to the U.S. Postal Service.
