Estrella Media Sells Content and Digital Operations to MediaCo

Paul, Weiss advised leading Spanish-language media company Estrella Broadcasting, Inc., and its majority equity holder HPS Partners, in the sale of subsidiary Estrella Media's network, content, digital and commercial operations to MediaCo Holding Inc. MediaCo operates radio stations HOT 97 and WBLS 107.5 in New York City. Under the terms of the deal brands included in the sale were the EstrellaTV network and its linear and digital video content business; Estrella Media's digital channels, including its four FAST channels EstrellaTV, Estrella News, Cine EstrellaTV and Estrella Games; and the EstrellaTV app. Estrella Media will continue to own and operate its local radio and television stations.
