RTI International, NACD Research Triangle Chapter Announce Jinky Ang Rosselli as the first Robert A. Ingram Fellow for Excellence in Board Governance

RALEIGH, N.C. - The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Research Triangle Chapter, together with nonprofit research institute RTI International, announce that Jinky Ang Rosselli has received the inaugural Robert A. Ingram Fellowship for Excellence in Board Governance. The fellowship was introduced in January 2024 in honor of Robert "Bob" A. Ingram, acknowledging his exceptional commitment to excellence in board governance and inclusive leadership throughout his tenure as a director.

Since November 2021 Rosselli has served as chief data and insights officer at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:BCRX), a company she joined in 2015. She leads a global team to leverage and build the company's data science, analytics and insights infrastructure, helping inform strategic decision making. Prior to joining BioCryst, she led the global intelligence and insight team at United Therapeutics and held positions in marketing and analytics at Grifols and Novartis.

Rosselli said she was fortunate to have Bob Ingram as a friend and informal advisor during his tenure with BioCryst, joining the BioCryst board in 2015, and later becoming chairman. She describes him as "a beacon of support and guidance," adding, "Bob's leadership style was unassuming, innovative, smart, and incredibly encouraging. His style is one that I aspire to emulate and continues to guide me on my leadership journey."

Wendy Burden, NACD Research Triangle Chapter board chair, said, "Jinky Rosselli exhibits all the characteristics we had hoped to find in our first Ingram Fellow. She is a member of NACD, currently serves on several nonprofit boards, and has positioned herself through her professional career to be ready to step into the role of an effective corporate director. We are confident that her continued education through NACD will benefit both herself and the companies that ultimately invite her to join their boards."

The fellowship provides a path to NACD Directorship Certification® for candidates from the Research Triangle area and Eastern North Carolina who exhibit high potential for public or private company board service. Rosselli was selected by a director-level review panel from a competitive field of applicants.

The Ingram Fellowship will be presented May 1, 2024, at the NACD Research Triangle program, Leading from the Boardroom: Board Composition, Compensation and Succession, which will be held at RTI's campus in Research Triangle Park, NC.
