VMware Careers: Tell us about your career journey to date?
Ahmed: In 2010 I started my career as a project coordinator in a company called 'Applications'. From there in 2011, I moved to another company called 'LinkDotNet' (Internet Service Provider), where I started my Technical Support journey as a TSE (Technical Support Engineer) and within two years I was promoted to Senior TSE. In 2015, I moved to a different role as a Strategic Account Manager for Orange (France Telecom), and in late 2016, I moved to another Company 'Raya DataCenter' as a Section Head for Support Operation. This was my first role as a leader, and I stayed there for three and a half years. In 2019, I joined VMWare as a Technical Support Supervisor and then was promoted to a manager in 2020.
