SCDOT to hold a drop-in public involvement meeting in Pickens County

Columbia, S.C.(April 18, 2024) - SCDOT will hold a drop-in public involvement meeting on Thursday, May 2, 2024 regarding a proposed preventive maintenance bridge project in Greenville County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The meeting will take place at Oolenoy Baptist Church located at 201 Miracle Hill Road, Pickens, SC 29671. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to provide bridge repair, rehabilitation, and preservation services for several statewide bridge maintenance projects. SC 288 (Pumpkintown Rd) over S. Saluda River Bridge is closed and load restricted. It is also on an expedited delivery schedule.
