Men's golf improves in California

PALM DESERT, Calif. - The South Dakota State men's golf team improved to 13th on day two of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif.


Through two rounds, the Jackrabbits have a team total of 596 (+20), including a second round score of 11-over-par 299. No. 19 Auburn leads the 21-team field with 563 (-13), while Charlotte remains in third at 566 (-10).

'I thought we played well,' said head golf coach . 'Most of the mistakes I saw will be easy to correct moving forward. I am expecting a good finish tomorrow.'
