Plenary adopts resolution on establishment of European Monetary Fund

On Thursday 14 March, plenary adopted a resolution on the establishment of the European Monetary Fund (EMF), on the basis of an interim report prepared by co-rapporteurs from the Committee on Budgets (BUDG) and the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), Vladimír Maňka (S&D, BUDG) and Pedro Silva Pereira (S&D, ECON). The debate in plenary took place the previous day.
