Military personnel of the army corps of the Eastern Military District stationed on the Kuril Islands are preparing for the district stage of the Games-2021 Falconry Hunting competition.

During the training, the unmanned aircraft crews perform practical flights of the Orlan-10 and Aileron-3 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Military personnel improve their skills in deploying complexes and launching aircraft, searching for stationary and mobile objects in the established square of the terrain, as well as transmitting coordinates to control points.

In addition, in the district stage of the competition, UAV operators will have to show their skills when performing a drone landing on accuracy. For this purpose of performing this task of the competition, the military personnel train to land the aircraft in a given area, without allowing it to leave the landing site.

In addition, the best UAV crews will be determined by the results of the Relay Race, for which it is necessary to have high skills in meeting the standards for fire, physical and topographic training.

Last year, at the international stage of the competition of the Army International Games-2020 held in the Voronezh region, the team from the motorized rifle unit of the army corps of the EMD from the Kuril Islands won the title of World champions.
