Korean Navy warship detachment completes visit to Vladivostok

Today, a detachment of warships of the naval forces of the Republic of Korea consisting of the minelayer 'Nampo' and tank landing ships 'Ilchulbong' and 'Cheon Ja Bong' finished business call in Vladivostok.

During the visit, excursions to the historical places of the city were conducted for South Korean sailors, and Pacific fleet cadets visited Korean warships, where they talked with cadets of the Army, Navy and Air Force academies of the Republic of Korea.

The commanding staff of the ships and the best cadets were taken by Deputy Commander of the Pacific Fleet Rear Admiral Denis Berezovsky, and cadets of the Pacific Higher Naval School named after Makrov visited Korean warships, where they met with cadets of the academy of the ground forces, naval forces and air forces of the Republic of Korea.

Today at the pier of the Pacific Fleet on the Ship Embankment of Vladivostok, a ceremony of seeing off the ships took place. South Korean ships left the main base of the Pacific Fleet and, accompanied by the R-18 missile boat, headed for the border of the territorial waters of Russia.
