It's Official! The Town Has Bought the RBSD Ponds Adjacent to McKegney Green

As of late last week, the Town of Tiburon is the proud new owner of a portion of land in the Richardson Bay Lineal Park that was previously closed off for public access and enjoyment.

The Town has purchased the land adjacent to the Richardson Bay Sanitation District, currently occupied by several water treatment ponds that have not been used by the District for some time. In the coming months, the Town will complete the State-mandated closure process, which includes draining the ponds and regrading the area to prepare it for a future use.
