Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova chaired a meeting of the emergency response centre for preventing the import and spread of the new coronavirus infection in Russia. The meeting participants adopted decisions on resuming air and rail traffic.

Following the discussion and considering the epidemiological situation in a number of countries, members of the emergency response centre decided to resume regular international air traffic from 10 June 2021 with the following countries on a reciprocal basis:

- Austria (Moscow-Vienna, twice a week)

- Croatia (Moscow-Zagreb, twice a week)

- Hungary (Moscow-Budapest, twice a week)

- Lebanon (Moscow-Beirut, once a week)

- Luxembourg (Moscow-Luxembourg, once a week)

- Mauritius (Moscow-Port Louis, twice a week)

- Morocco (Moscow-Rabat, twice a week).

From 10 June, chartered flights will resume between Russia and Albania (Moscow-Tirana, once a week).

From 10 June, the number of flights between Russia and Greece will increase by two flights per week between Moscow and Athens on a reciprocal basis. The number of flights between Russia and Azerbaijan (Moscow-Baku), Armenia (Moscow-Yerevan), Qatar (Moscow-Doha), Uzbekistan (Moscow-Tashkent) and Tajikistan (Moscow-Dushanbe) will increase by one flight per week. The number of flights between Russia and Egypt (Moscow-Cairo) and Serbia (Moscow-Belgrade) will reach seven per week. With Germany, international air traffic will resume between Moscow and Munich.

Due to the improved epidemiological situation in the United Kingdom, members of the emergency response centre decided not to renew the decision to suspend bilateral air traffic. From 2 June, regular flights will resume between Moscow and London three times a week on a reciprocal basis.

Considering the complicated epidemiological situation in Turkey and Tanzania, it was decided to extend the current air traffic restrictions until 21 June 2021.

Members of the emergency response centre also decided to resume international flights from the airports in Nizhnekamsk, Vladikavkaz and Tomsk from 10 June, with due consideration for the Government Directive No. 635-R dated 16 March 2020 and the need to comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
