Three young Italian researchers have received the Theodor Körner Fonds prize, the prestigious award handed out to young scientists and artists who stand out for their work in Austrian Universities. The award was given to Alessandro Monti for Law, Greca Meloni for Anthropology, and Daniel Fill for Cinematography.
During the awarding ceremony, the Italian Ambassador in Vienna, Stefano Beltrame, said: "Congratulations to the winners. These awards confirm the increasingly close relationship between Italy and Austria also in universities and in a spirit of growing European integration."
On such occasion, the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, also a young winner of the Theodor Körner Fonds prize, pointed out that the award aims to help young scholars at the beginning of their academic career.
