Safety Award by Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala to Naval Aircraft Yard (Kochi)

Naval Aircraft Yard NAY (Kochi) was awarded the Govt of Kerala State Industrial Safety Award 2021. The unit was visited by a team of seven personnel headed by a Director from Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala, on 25 February 2022. The team assessed the safety practices and health and welfare system being adhered to at NAY (Koc) followed by a visit to Yard work centres. The Aircraft Yard was adjudged the Winner under Category II (Large Factories) by the department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala on 03 March 2022. The prestigious Kerala State Industrial Safety Award 2021 was presented at a ceremony held at TDM Hall, Ernakulam on 04 March 2022. The function was presided by Shri. Shivan Kutty, Minister for Education and Labour, Government of Kerala. The award and citation were received by Commodore Yogesh C Pandey, Commodore Superintendent, NAY(Kochi) and his Team.
