Summary of Trade Statistics in June 2021
Taiwan's export value in June 2021 was US$36.65 billion, an increase of 35.1% compared to June last year. The cumulative export value from January to June 2021 was US$206.91 billion, an annual growth rate of 31.0%.
In June 2021, the export value of electronic products was US$14.51 billion (39.6% of the total). It was the principal commodity export. Compared to the same month last year, mineral products, plastics & rubber articles and related products, textiles, chemicals grew by 87.4%, 65.4%, 53.8% and 52.1%, respectively.
In June 2021, exports to Mainland China & Hong Kong, ASEAN, Japan, the U.S.A., and Europe grew by 29.0%, 40.9%, 23.9%, 34.5%, and 34.3%, respectively compared to the same month of last year.
