The high-speed EMUs and CIT customized for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, with Chinese standards adopted, successfully rolled off the production line in Qingdao on August 5.
Mr. Pan Jiang, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of NDRC attended the Beijing Branch venue of this event and delivered an opening speech. Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, a famous tourist city in Indonesia, with a total length of 142km and a maximum design speed of 350km/h. At present, all tunnels of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway have been fully connected and more than 90% of the civil works for subgrade, bridges and stations have been completed. The track laying of the main line has started. The completion and opening of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway will deepen the joint efforts of the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and play a significant role in building the community of a shared future between China and Indonesia.
