Yapı Kredi is proud to become a TCFD supporter!

Yapı Kredi reiterated its support for combatting global climate crisis and transparency around climate risks and opportunities by becoming a Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) supporter. Yapı Kredi welcomes the TCFD recommendations that will enable market participants to make more informed decisions by better evaluating climate related risks and exposures over the short, medium and long term.

Established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), TCFD aims to improve and increase reporting of climate-related financial information.

The disclosure recommendations provided by the TCFD are structured around four thematic areas that represent core elements of how organizations operate: a) governance, b) strategy, c) risk management, and d) metrics and targets. These thematic areas are intended to interlink and inform each other.
