KKE invests in German Company, NavVis GmbH

Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, JAPAN,Chairman: Shota Hattori,"KKE" hereafter) announced today that it has signed an investment agreement for approximately twomillion Euros for NavVis GmbH (Head Office: Munich, Germany, CEO: Felix Reinshagen).

Established in May 2013, NavVis GmbH is a fast-growing start-up company in Munich, Germany. NavVis is a leading provider of indoor spatial intelligence platform that digitizes indoor spaces and is adopted to improve services and business efficiency of enterprises.

KKE entered into a business alliance with NavVis in 2015, and sells and markets NavVis products and value-added services in Japan. KKE promotes digitalization of manufacturing plants, BIM utilization in the construction industry, and streamlining in the facility management industry. This investment follows the investment of approximately 9 million Euros in December 2018.

By combining NavVis technology into KKE's engineering knowledge, KKE can benefit more clients with higher convenience. The sophisticated technology of NavVis creates high synergy when applied to the line of business of KKE, such as engineering consulting in the architecture field, marketing consulting for retail stores, and manufacturing solutions.

NavVis is a spin-off from a research project at the Technical University of Munich. Introducing and diffusing NavVis solutions into society will lead to the realization of the corporate philosophy of KKE, "being a bridge between the academic and business worlds".

The investment will further strengthen the partnership and collaboration between NavVis and KKE. KKE will thus strive to bring new technological innovation and to contribute to society.
