Electronic warfare specialists of Southern MD repel drone attack in Stavropol Territory

Electronic warfare specialists of Southern MD's motorised rifle unit repelled attack of mock enemy drone by suppressing and blocking the satellite navigation system at training ground in Stavropol Territory.

In the course of tactical and special exercises with the electronic warfare complex, the frequencies and user terminals of the mock enemy's drone control system were detected. In order to block access to the navigation systems and control channels, electronic warfare specialists used Borisoglebsk-2 complex.

In addition, during the exercise, the troops practised defending positions against high-precision weapons using the Rtut' system, which is capable of neutralising projectiles equipped with radio-fuzes at considerable distances from their troops' positions.

About 300 servicemen took part in the event, 20 units of military and special equipment were involved.
