Bloom Energy appoints new Vice-President to advance and scale the company’s global hydrogen efforts

Bloom Energy is continuing its rapid expansion into the hydrogen market with the appointment of a new Vice-President that will advance and scale Bloom's global efforts.

Rick Beuttel, who has entered the role, brings over three decades of experience to the company, will aim to spearhead the company's commercial hydrogen strategy that aims to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen across the globe.

This could see the implementation for Bloom's solid oxide electrolysers throughout the world to bolster production capabilities.

Additionally, this could situate the company at the forefront of the global energy transition and actively support the amount of hydrogen being generated around the world increasing demand.

Beuttel brings experience in business development within the energy and industrial sectors, including extensive work deploying and scaling hydrogen projects across international markets.

The appointment will help define Bloom's market strategy, serve as an evangelist for emerging hydrogen solutions, and develop relationships with industry leaders to continue momentum around Bloom's hydrogen technology.

Making hydrogen happen

This March, H2 View will explore A Climate for Action and Investment in Europe in an immersive event that features some of the leading stakeholders and influencers in hydrogen, as well as a return to in-person networking and the opportunity to meet the Women in Hydrogen driving the agenda forward.

Taking place in Munich, Germany, confirmed speakers already include the Hydrogen Council, Hydrogen Europe, Clean Hydrogen Partnership, FiveT Hydrogen, Airbus, Nel and Michelin.
