Kid Zorro: Bilingual Puppet Musical at the Feldheym Central Library

Join us in celebrating Día de los niñosat the San Bernardino Public Library. Noteworthy Puppets will be presenting 'Kid Zorro: The Bilingual Puppet Musical', at all four city libraries. These free programs will be held:

  • Monday, April 22 at 5 PM at the Villasenor Branch Library, 525 N. Mt. Vernon Ave.
  • Tuesday, April 23 at 10:30 AM in the Bing Wong Auditorium at the Feldheym Library, 555 W. 6th Street.
  • Tuesday, April 23 at 5:30 PM at the Rowe Branch Library, 108 E. Marshall Blvd.
  • Saturday, April 27 at 2 PM at the Inghram Branch Library, 1505 W. Highland Ave.

This bilingual musical puppet show takes you to Spanish California and sets the origin of the popular masked outlaw against the backdrop of Día de los Muertos. Zorro must embrace his family's destiny in order to save the local mission from a corrupt politician with a diabolical plan. Will young Diego have the courage to continue his Abuelo's mission to combat social injustice?

With 7 years of experience bringing library, birthday party, and mall puppet shows to Southern California audiences, Kevin Noonchester is now presenting quality musical puppet shows under his own company name, Noteworthy Puppets. With credits ranging from Broadway (Avenue Q), to film (Unstoppable, The Change Up), television (Gilmore Girls), voice-over (Dreamworks' Rise of the Guardians), and Disney (Finding Nemo: The Musical), meet the new gold standard for family puppet entertainment.

The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
