Today, taking another step forward in this direction, the Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has approved the PLI scheme of ₹10,683 crore for the textile industry
This far-sighted decision will increase India's dominance in the global textile market as well as create about 7.5 lakh new employment opportunities in the rural sector, which will especially further empower women'

The Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi for approving the PLI (Production Linked Scheme) scheme for the textile industry by the Union Cabinet.
In his tweets, Shri Amit Shah said that in the last 7 years, Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has taken many meaningful steps to make the textile sector self-reliant. Today, taking another step forward in this direction, the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modihas approved a PLI scheme of ₹10,683 crore for the textile industry.

पिछले 7 वर्षों में टेक्सटाइल क्षेत्र को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi जी ने कई सार्थक कदम उठायें हैं।
