TWO PLAYERS EACH CELEBRATE $1 MILLION WINS
AFTER PLAYING THE POWERBALL® DRAW GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery (Lottery) announces that John Clair, 56, of Hilliard, and Ama Campbell, 38, of Miami Gardens, each claimed a $1 million prize from the POWERBALL® Draw game at the Lottery's Orlando and Miami District Offices. The winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball number.
Clair purchased his $1 million winning POWERBALL ticket for the Saturday, January 1, 2022 drawing from Jack Rabbit Food Mart, located at 15807 County Road 108 in Hillard.
Campbell purchased her $1 million winning POWERBALL Quick Pick ticket for the Wednesday, January 5, 2022 drawing from Publix, located at 9951 Miramar Parkway in Miramar.
The retailers will each receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the winning POWERBALL ticket.
The $30 game, THE FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000, launched in February 2020 and features 155 top prizes of $1,000,000 and over $948 million in cash prizes! The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-2.79.
