School Holidays extravaganza at Fun4Kids festival in Pemulwuy - 29 September 2017

Dirrabari Reserve, Pemulwuy will be the location for a full day of free entertainment and activities for kids on their school holidays. Beginning at 10:30am on Friday 6 October, Fun4Kids brings together performances, sports, showbags, animals and education to cater for kids of all interests and ages.

Starting from 10:30am the stage will host the RRRR Pirates Island Escape Show, Jonas Jost Family Fun Show, Wizard of Oz Show, Puppet Pandemonium and finishing with Ruby Star's Circus Show.

The live performances will be accompanied by:

  • Animal farm and pony rides
  • Cartoon workshop
  • Cooking decorating workshop
  • Face painting
  • Girl Guides NSW - Information and free activity
  • GWS Giants AFL - Handball target activities and free giveaways
  • Holroyd District Scouts - Information and free activity
  • Jumping castle
  • Paint Cumberland REaD - Book reading and meet Poppy the Possum
  • Playgroup NSW - Information and free activity
  • All Toys - Showbags, bubble guns and novelty toys*
  • Candles by Di - Make your own candle or purchase handmade soy candles*
  • Funtatts - Temporary airbrush tattoos*
  • Lil Creative Hands - Plaster and sand art packs
  • Delicious food and snack options
  • Education activities

Shakey the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz Show said Cumberland kids were in for a real treat.

'Our shows are really about inviting kids to get up and move around, to relate to our music and to laugh and have a great time,' said Shakey the Scarecrow.

'We encourage everyone to get dressed up as their favourite character, come out and have fun.'
