COVID-19 vaccine clinics week of Aug. 15
(COLUMBIA, MO)- There are multiple opportunities for COVID-19 vaccinations with Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) the week of Aug. 15.
Friday, Aug. 19
West Middle School Back to School Bash at the MU Healthcare Pavilion
1769 W. Ash St.
2 to 6 p.m.
Walks-in welcome, no appointment needed
The Back to School Bash will feature free backpacks, hair cuts, physicals and more.
Saturday, Aug. 20
Comfort clinic at PHHS
1005 W. Worley
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents can receive any dose in a series, including boosters. To check booster eligibility, visit cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html.
Vaccines are free and do not require ID or health insurance. Anyone aged 6 months and older is eligible for Pfizer. Anyone aged 18 and older is eligible for Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson. While there are Moderna vaccines available for individuals ages 6 months to 17 years, PHHS is currently only administering Pfizer vaccines to this age group.
Parental consent forms are required for anyone under the age of 18.
The PHHS clinic, 1005 W. Worley St., will have extended hours for COVID vaccinations on Wednesdays in August from 3:30 to 6 p.m. These clinics are by appointment only: CoMo.gov/health/covid19-vaccine-appointments.
In addition to these clinics, vaccination opportunities are available with other local vaccinators. The list of vaccinators and their information can be found by visiting CoMo.gov/covidvaccine.
