OECD Economic Survey of the Netherlands 2021: Wednesday 16 June

10/06/2021 -

Online press conference at 11:00 CEST

The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of the Netherlands on Wednesday 16 June. The Survey examines the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the economy and discusses how tackling long-standing challenges such as labour market inequalities, environmental pressures and housing shortages could improve the strength and sustainability of the recovery. A special chapter looks at how deepening the digital transformation in the Netherlands, particularly by encouraging small businesses to adopt new technologies, could boost productivity growth.

OECD Secretary-GeneralMathias Cormann will present the Survey's key messages and take questions at a virtual press conference with Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy Stef Blok and OECD Director of Economic Country Studies Alvaro Pereira starting at 11:00 CEST on Wednesday 16 June. The event will take place in English.

  • The Survey will be published at 11:00 CEST at the following link, which can be included in news articles: www.oecd.org/economy/netherlands-economic-snapshot/.
