HMS and EroNkan leverage Ewon Flexy to offer IIoT solutions for efficiency improvements in manufacturing
HMS Networks and EroNkan Technologies are pleased to announce a seamless integration between the Ewon Flexy remote router from HMS, and EroNkan's proprietary IoT platform for multiple industry verticals. The solution allows the Ewon Flexy to log time-stamped process data and push into the EroNkan cloud platform in real-time. The result is better manufacturing analytics and improved production efficiency on the factory floor.
How it works
The Flexy gateway pulls data from PLCs such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and others. EroNkan's cloud platform is configured to pull PLC data directly in real-time from Flexy's embedded OPC-UA server, and allows this to flow automatically into EroNkan's aggregation and analytics layers.
EroNkan uses IoT technology to capture, intelligently present, and leverage data from machines, PLCs, controllers and IoT-enabled sensors to create real-time actionable alerts and reports, helping manufacturers accomplish double-digit improvements in processing, packaging, and profitability.
The platform can aggregate data from different sources on the factory floor as well such as digitized operator logbooks and planning data from the ERP platforms. EroNkan has helped to create customized solutions for different industry verticals.
The results
Machines can be monitored remotely to track efficiency and unplanned downtime - Easily identified through the EroNkan Manufacturing Analytics platform.
