This document is the UK government's response to the Independent Commission for Aid Impact's (ICAI) review of the UK's approach to tackling fraud in UK aid through multilateral organisations (March 2022).

The UK government welcomes ICAI's recognition of the government's commitment to reducing fraud and establishing effective processes to highlight potential fraud in the multilateral organisations we work with. The UK has long been at the forefront of action to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the multilateral system. We will continue to ensure value for money for the UK taxpayer.
