Fatality Crash in the 5100 Block of S. Congress Ave.

Deceased: Terryn Dee Strahan, White female, born April 30, 1969

The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Terryn Dee Strahan as the deceased in the September 19 fatality crash on S. Congress Ave.
At approximately 8:16 p.m. APD was notified of a collision that occurred in the 5100 Block of S. Congress Ave. The preliminary investigation shows that an unidentified vehicle was traveling northbound on S. Congress Ave. when it struck Terryn Strahan who was walking southbound. The vehicle then left the scene without providing aid or calling 9-1-1. Ms. Strahan was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on September 20 at 12:55 a.m.
