Free Summer Symphony Series

Join the City of Pembroke Pines this summer in welcoming back the ever popular Summer Symphony Series. This celebration of music features diverse presentations from local musicians and the Symphony of The Americas Chamber Orchestra. All presentations and parking are free to the public. Seating is limited. All presentations will be held in the Charles F. Dodge City Center Lobby, 601 City Center Way, unless otherwise noted on the city's website at www.ppines.com. Sunday, June 12, 4 -6 p.m. - As part of "Vocal Works of Symphonic Composers," Lyric Soprano Alexandra Marie will present a recital of the most beautiful works from famous symphonic composers.

Sunday, July 10, 4-6 p.m. - Join the Brubeck Brass in an exploration of Jazz from the blues of Black Americans to the French harmony of Creoles-of-Color.

Thursday, August 11, 7-9 p.m.-The Symphony of The Americas presents their Chamber Orchestra at The Susan B. Katz Theatre, 17195 Sheridan Street.

Sunday, August 14, 4-6 p.m. -This presentation explores the idea of who is the greatest composer of strings of all time - Mozart or Mendelssohn? Some of best of South Florida's chamber musicians will be featured.
