1st Star: C Anthony Louis, Rockford (AHL)
The Line: 2 GP, 2G
The IceHogs center provided aggressive offensive play through the team's two games last week. In Rockford's first matchup against Manitoba, Louis accounted for one goal and shared the team lead with four attempts one net in the 4-3 overtime loss. Against the Wolves a night later, he netted another goal as Rockford fell 7-4. Louis is currently on a three-game goal streak, his longest of the season, and is second on the IceHog's roster with 28 points (9G, 19A).
2nd Star: C Liam Coughlin, Vermont (NCAA)
The Line: 2 GP, 1G, 1A
Coughlin was productive in Vermont's back-to-back tilts with Providence this past week. In the first game the center found twine for his sixth goal of the season in the 2-2 tie. In the second matchup with the Friars, Coughlin found teammate Alex Esposito for the game-winner in the third period to secure a 4-3 victory. The junior now sits at 10 points (6G, 4A) through 25 games.
3rd Star: LW Alexandre Fortin, Rockford (AHL)
The Line: 2 GP, 2A
The winger tallied points in consecutive games for the fourth time this season this past week. Fortin was a strong distributor in the IceHogs two games, picking up a helper in each. The Laval, Quebec native now has 15 points (3G, 12A) through 36 tilts in the American Hockey League.
