Under the scope of the project on modernization of the Chita TPP-1 turbine, Power machines conducted controlled assembly and successfully tested a high-pressure cylinder manufactured for the Chita TPP-1. The series of tests conducted revealed that parameters of the manufactured equipment corresponded to the design. It was also accepted by the customer.
The contract for the modernization of the PT-60-90/13 heat turbine of Chita TPP-1 provides for the production of equipment set for the modernization of the turbine, including large units such as the HPC, the high-pressure rotor and the lock valve box, as well as units for modernization under conditions of the medium and low pressure cylinder station (MLPC). In addition, the Power machines experts will provide installation supervision services.
Production of the equipment is conducted at the Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod which is a part of PJSC «Power machines».
As a result of the works, the steam turbine with a capacity of 60 MW will be converted into a type «AP» (anti-pressure). The new wheel space part of LPC developed by the designers of the company allows for the exclusion of the condenser from the work and to avoid heat losses, directing all the steam to the heating selection during the modernization.
Implementation of the project will increase the reliability of heat and electricity supply of the TPP, extend the service life of the equipment, increase the efficiency of Chita TPP-1 when the turbine of the first power unit is operated in the back pressure mode.Completion of equipment shipment and works on its installation at the station is planned for the second quarter of 2019.
